About Chris:

While many chefs trained from culinary institutions, Chef Chris was born in to food. Son to Guyanese immigrants Roy and Valda, Chris learned his techniques and found his passion at an early age. Tagging along his parents who love cooking and entertaining guests he developed his culinary passion and creativity with different cuisines.

Equipped with his childhood experience, he gain further professional experience at establishments such as Madame X, S.O.B’s, Negril Village and Pastis. He now brings his passion to CookUnity as one of its artisan chefs.

welcome Brooke Alpert M.S., R.D., C.D.N.

We'd like to welcome nationally recognized nutrition expert, author and New Yorker Brooke Alpert to our CookUnity.

Brooke received her Masters of Science at New York University and completed her dietetic training at Mt. Sinai Hospital in affiliation with NYU. She is the founder of B Nutritious, a private nutrition counseling and consulting firm located on the Upper East Side.

She will work with our artisan chefs community creating even healthier, tastier, more balanced and conscious meals for you to enjoy.
