What is Cookunity?
We are a cooking community, a chef-driven online marketplace that delivers locally sourced meals right to your door. In our kitchen, chefs really run the show, handpicking the freshest ingredients to create signature dishes unique to their cooking style.
When do we deliver?
We serve dinner every night from 5 pm to 9 pm and lunch Monday to Friday from 11 am to 3 pm. We also take pre-orders
How does CookUnity work?
Our chefs cook every meal from scratch everyday in small batches. You choose your favorite by clicking on the "Want it!" icon. Later, on the cart, you enter your address and credit card details and choose a time for delivery. We will send you a text message when your order is on its way!
What does a typical CookUnity meal look like?
We believe in balance, nutrition, and flavor. CookUnity meals, like our chefs, span a wide variety. Whether your meal consists of tacos or lasagna our goal is to make you feel nourished and satisfied. Every meal includes one entree, one side dish, and one sweet small dessert.
How will my food arrive?
Your food will arrive packaged and chilled. Our chefs have prepared your meal in the hours before you receive it. We keep it cold to keep the experience as fresh as possible.
How many people does one meal serve?
Each CookUnity meal serves one. So, if you’re feeding four people, you’d need to order four meals. If you're ordering for multiple people, we encourage you to try different options to share "family style".
Is CookUnity food considered healthy?
Your health is very important to us! We source organic, mind our sodium levels, and keep the butter use low (no salted butter or salted chicken stock). Most of our dishes feature one predominant superfood, packed with vitamins and antioxidants. And, CookUnity dishes will never be deep fried. Most frequently, we use olive oil. Other oils used on occasion are sesame, coconut, and peanut.
Are your ingredients organic?
We source organic whenever we can. Most of our ingredients are either local, organic, or comes from a farm that is committed to sustainability. Some of our ingredients are brought directly from our chef’s private gardens in the Hudson Valley. Talk about local sourcing!
How do I know what am I eating?
We list all ingredients in your CookUnity meal, so if allergies are a concern for you, all the information you need is there. We also note whether your dish is gluten, nut, or dairy free when applicable.

How do I get my food ready?
We deliver our meals chilled so your food is ready when you are. Each meal comes with a card containing simple heating instructions. We’re talking fork to mouth in under 5 minutes!
Do i need to commit to more than one order?
Nope! Try us out and see what you think, we’re pretty sure you’ll be back for more. If for any reason, you are unsatisfied with your CookUnity experience, please let us know. We are here to listen, improve, and provide the best experience possible.

Change is a part of life, and we support that. We will always try to accommodate your requests, just give us a heads up!
Is your method of payment secure?

How do I rate and comment on the meal I ordered?
Next time you sign in to your CookUnity account you will see a reminder to rate your most recent meal. Let us know how it went! How did it taste? Was it delivered on time? How was the presentation? You can also rate your meals later by visiting "My Transactions". We’ll occasionally email you to check in on behalf of our chefs, because they love to know how you feel about their food!
